Location

 

Cab's is located on Main Street, in beautiful downtown Glen Ellyn, Illinois - just two blocks southwest from the Metra train station (Union Pacific/West line).

 

Chef owned and operated

 

The restaurant is owned and operated by the husband/wife team of Chef Luis and

Lisa Ayllon (General Manager).

 

Great Food!

 

Chef Luis's eclectic menu features New American Cuisine with a specialty in, (but not limited to) sauces, seafood, and game. Some of the house favorites include the seafood combination, beef tenderloin, elk, tuna tartar, Cassoulet (in colder months), fried beer battered green beans and

grilled brie dishes (to name a few).

At Cab's we are happy to adjust to accommodate our customers dietary needs and desires.

 

Gluten free diets, Eat right for your blood type diets, less fat, no starch extra vegetables, no sauce ... Let us know what you want and we can usually do it!

 

Great Wine!

 

Lisa is very proud of her wine list. The wines are carefully chosen by herself, and the two

bartenders Cindy Hamilton and Dave Tondue.

 

Cab's has an off premise package license - that means bottles of wine can be sold to go.

These sell at $15 below the wine list price!

 

The full service bar offers a wide variety of beverages to go along with the great food choices

- all in a casual, friendly, warm, and lively atmosphere.

 

Live Music

 

Cab's also has live music on Thursday nights upstairs and on many weekend nights on the main

floor (check our upcoming events calendar for details).

 

Warm Service

 

Most of the staff at Cab's Wine Bar Bistro are longtime employees and have become like family.

Cab's values its customers, and many have also become like family as well.

 

CAB'S Other Points of Interest:

 

Cab's is available to open for private lunch or afternoon parties (groups of 20 or more).

There is also a private party room available.  The loft room fits 25 to 30 people!
